Robocop 2014 starts off with Samuel Jackson as a TV news reporter asking questions about machines and robots taking over human jobs and tasks. Clips are shown of robot drones working in dangerous environments like in war torn Tehran.

Robocop chassis and visor resembled the knight rider car KITT. Gary oldman is excellent playing a doctor. Michael Keaton is very smooth and I also liked the Keaton's two sniveling and conniving media assistants. In one particular scene- Keaton and his cronies are deciding who to choose as a Robocop? The panel have a selection of disabled police officers to select. Keaton's female red headed assistant particular like a muscular disabled amputee cop.

This Robocop does have this sensational technology he uses to find bad guys as he rides, slick motorbike (which is a great addition to be honest) and he does throw out some great lines before arresting or killing a bad guy.

It is a vastly different film from the original. While the central concept remains the same, different themes are explored and in great depth.
